On my 30th birthday we started the day at a local bakery here in Chicagoland called Village Bakery. I had the most delicious blueberry scone and Chad and the girls ate doughnuts. The Bakery was right next to the train station, which Addi loved. She said the train looked like Chuggington. She was right. It was even more difficult than usual to get her to pose for the picture.
Next we went to Lake Michigan to play in the water. Addi was a little intimidated at first but loved picking up rocks. Elli LOVED the water and kept splashing her feet! Daddy was an awesome daddy as usual;) Also this was the first day we dressed the girls in matching Hawaiian outfits given to us by Uncle Bruce and Aunt Karol!
The best family pic we could get courtesy some stranger on the beach.
Camp friends made a cake and pecan pie for my birthday!
